British Luxury lifestyle brand, Debrett's has released their annual list of the 500 most influential Brits. Making an appearance on the list are the fresh faces of Zoe Sugg, Alfie Deyes, and Charlie McDonnell.

Listed under the "New Media" category, the young Brits have been tapped as influencers in their field---undoubtedly beating out dozens of others for the honours.

The list aims to honour "people of influence and achievement in British society". This will surely be the case for Zoella whose meteoric rise to fame on Youtube has enabled her to break records worldwide and expand her career beyond the platform.

Many will also recognize Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes from their cameo in Bob Geldof's ebola appeal.

Also on the list were Ed Sheeran and One Direction who have, undoubtedly proven their worthiness of the accolades. Ed Sheeran released his latest musical effort, X, last year, making him a hot commodity in the music industry. He was recognised in the same category as One Direction who are currently the biggest active boy band in the world.

JK Rowling, Russell Brand, and Stephen Fry also appeared on the list for their various efforts. Undoubtedly Rowling is recognised for her Harry Potter series; Brand for his activism and authorship; and Stephen Fry for being an actual treasure to life.

Though the list covers many genres and talents, it has raised a few brows for its lack of social diversity.
