Zayn Heartbreak

Break-ups suck. There's no way around it. And even worse is when you try to get over it, only to see that your ex is doing a much better job of moving on.

It's kinda like how we feel about the news that Zayn Malik has been seen visiting a recording studio, just DAYS after he left One Direction to "live like a normal 22 year-old". I mean, really???

It's JUST like a bad breakup:

You're past the honeymoon period with your bae. It's been great, and you're happy, but lately they've been acting a little distant.

Then out of the blue, it happens: they suggest you both take a break for a while.

But, as it turns out, a break wasn't enough.

They say it's not you, it's them; they need some time alone to figure themselves out; etc, etc.

And maybe you're heartbroken, but you understand that you can't make them stay. You try and make the breakup as healthy as possible.

You grieve, but you realise this was probably a long time coming.

So there's no use wallowing in sadness. It's time to get positive!

But just when you start to feel like you're getting over it: BOOM.

Your now-ex is already moving on?? After all that stuff they said to you???

You're angry. You're hurt. Of COURSE part of you wants to call them out.

But you know that wouldn't do either of you any good. And they're obviously happier now. So you feel stuck.

You resolve to focus on your own life for now. Because you know, in the end, you'll be okay; and you'll always be friends.
