sunday times rich list

Every year the Sunday times reveals its list of the wealthiest people and families in Britain. It gives us normal folk the opportunity to gawk and sputter at the sheer wealth that singular entities can accumulate over the course of a career.

This year's rich list is no different.

Topping the prestigious list of the 20 Richest Young Musicians in Britain is Adele, with an estimated net worth of £50 million. Thats £1 million but 50 times, if you needed clarification. She hasn't put out an album in four years but she is still utterly destroying the game.

Our boy Sam Smith has joined the list for the first time, slipping in behind One Direction and even Ed Sheeran. That's no surprise. Sam has had a phenomenal year. He cleaned up at the Grammys and the Brit awards, making him the most sought after musician in the country.
