People who love Drake really love Drake. Seriously, it often borders on fanatical how much people stan for the Canadian rapper. But probably none love him so much as the guy in NYU student Christopher Cole's short film If You're Reading This It's Too Late.
Cole released his 4-minute production this week, for which he is still waiting on a grade from his professor at the Tisch School. It's a solid soliloquy about Drake's meteoric rise to fame over the past six years, following the release of EP So Far Gone in 2009. But while his "protagonist" speaks over footage of himself enjoying the music and framing Drake's discography and Googling where he lives, we see the film take a very quick and very dark turn.
We won't spoil it, but it's safe to say that the shared title of both Drake's latest EP and this short plays a really important role. Check it out below.
