Sarah Harding is the latest member of Girls Aloud to go it alone and we're all sorts of confused about it.
Harding, who is also prepping for a role on long running soap Coronation Street, follows in the footsteps of Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Kimberly Walsh and, of course, Cheryl Fernandez Versini to release music outside of the group.
Having teased the track last week, Harding shared the song on her VEVO channel this morning (6 July) and it's, well, interesting.
Titled "Threads", the song is an amalgamation of pop, rock and dubstep and sounds rather similar to some of Girls Aloud's earlier material.
Now, while we're always here for Girls Aloud and their solo projects, "Threads" sounds like it was recorded in 2009 on GarageBand. The song even has a dubstep 'doom-wobble' breakdown.
Co-written by Harding herself, "Threads" is the first track to be taken from an upcoming EP and is due for release 7 August.
