We know you don't want to hear this but, after MJ Part 2 comes out this week, there will be no more Hunger Games movies.
We feel you.
For those of a short memory span, you have a few days left refresh yourself on what happened in part one before you dive into part 2.
One of the highlights of that first part was Jlaw's soulful solemn rendition of the Hanging Tree song referenced in the books.
*wipes away single tear*
This scene, unsurprisingly, inspired hundreds of fans to record their own versions of the track and upload them to youtube, with massive differences in style and approach.
One of the most viewed covers is Peter Hollens' one man acapella video, shot in the woods for an extra authentic vibe.
Holly Henry just uses acoustic guitar, giving the song a folky feel with her Halsey-like vocals.
Tyler Ward and Alyson Stoner take a different approach, completely reworking the song by writing a new R'n'B verse and pre-chorus before adding the hook from the original.
Sisters Caroline and Gillian Bird recorded this sweet version in their backyard with just clapping to accompany their singing.
And finally, here's the official remix or 'rebel mix' of the movie version. Oddly ravey given how depressing the lyrics are.
Good job everybody. Anyone want to add their own version into the mix?
