Obama Gets Into Coding

As he reaches the end of his Presidency, it's apparent Barack Obama is letting himself have a little more fun with being the man in charge, and learning some new skills - including coding.

As a part of's 2014 Computer Science Education Week, a worldwide event organised to encourage young students to get into coding, the President attended an "Hour Of Code" where he took part in the exercises, wrote his first line of code, and wore a cool hat.

Hang on, that looks familiar.

The President's first line of javascript was for a program that featured Frozen characters Anna and Elsa (WE CAN'T ESCAPE) - he wrote "moveForward(100);" which prompted Elsa to complete a square by moving 100 pixels. Great job sir.

Since the President's getting into coding, it's probably only a matter of time before he's writing his own Facebook. So we had the only appropriate response to the event - put quotes from The Social Network on top of photos of Obama coding.

He might start drunk-blogging.

He can use this one for angry emails.

He could make this one his new business card.

And of course, the obligatory smackdown.

(change "inventing Facebook" to "running the United States" and he could send that one to Congress).

For our next trick, we'll be putting dialogue from The West Wing over pictures of Mark Zuckerberg.

But for now, this post wouldn't be complete without a bonus Eduardo/Biden.
