At eighteen she's already an accomplished artist and musical curator - but apparently Lorde has a promising fallback career in management.
Confessing to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Lorde tells the story of how someone confused her for new friend Taylor Swift's manager at an event - and how Taylor immediately ran with it.
Can you imagine these two as a talent/management power duo?
According to her Instagram, Lorde's appearance on the show was apparently the last scheduled piece of work she has for the year. After touring worldwide, working on her second album AND the soundtrack for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1', she's earned a hell of a break.
and that's it - my last proper scheduled work for the year. couldn't be a nicer way to end, from being scared out of our minds on his show over a year ago to now - jimmy is a true class act. was very cool getting to do one of my first talk show interviews on his couch. i'll write a lil note summarising the last year soon, but for now i'm just smiling and lazing and life is great. thankyou for all of it.
Luckily for us, Lorde finished her appearance - and her year - with another electrifying performance of 'Yellow Flicker Beat'. Enjoy.
