Facebook has just announced some MAJOR changes to user profiles and things are gonna get real interesting.
In a lovely video (which you can peruse below), the social media empire explained how you'll now have the ability to pin photos to the top of your profile, have temporary profile pics, new about info (in 100 characters *Twitter face*), mobile-centric design and, the most important and life changing of them all, the ability to use a seven-second looping video as your profile picture.
Now, according to science (or something) seven seconds is all it takes to make a strong first impression. Obvs this is important, but while you can't shake someone's hand and impress them with your amaze outfits via Facebook (maybe one day...), the '7 Second Challenge' seems like the perfect way to show your friends and new peeps who and what you are.
For those who don't know, the '7 Second Challenge' is an app by Dan & Phil where you're given seven seconds to, well, complete a challenge. There are LOADS of videos on YouTube of creators taking the challenge.

Obvs not all the challenges in the app are going to work for a looping profile vid, but here are seven suggestions and examples of how you can utilise the app, the challenge, pimp up your FB profile and make that all important first impression.
