UPDATE - WE WERE RIGHT!
Matty and the boys are off on a full UK tour, get the details below:
Tickets for the December UK tour will go on sale at 9am on Friday 15th July here – www.the1975.com/live
ORIGINAL POST, JULY 7th
Popular Mancunian music makers The 1975 have begun posting a series of images on their Twitter account of various cities up and down the UK that could be possible tour locations.
Making use of their now familiar neon signage, the band's followers have managed to identify the cities in question based on the landmarks.
So, this is Cardiff.
This bridge can be found in Glasgow.
The famous Angel Of The North is in Matty's birthtown of Newcastle.
And, while it's quite hard to tell, this looks like it could be Manchester.
Finally, given that this image show London's O2 Arena, we can safely presume that these other locations will form part of a UK tour, most likely around the same time as their O2 show this December.
The December gig is said to feature a whole new set design, some rarely played early songs and the live debut of songs from the latest album, Matty having previously hinted at some potential additions to the setlist.

This must be my dream
I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it
The band return to the UK this weekend (July 8th) to perform at Wireless Festival, with further appearances lined up at T in The Park, Reading and Leeds Festivals.
More details on these additional tour dates as soon as we get them.
