This year we were all saddened by the untimely death of one of music's most iconic and legendary artists, David Bowie.
Just before his death, Bowie released his 28th studio album, Blackstar, a sort of final-ode to his career and legacy. The album, as well as it's videos, were unanimously praised and now it seems that the Star Man had another thing up his sleeve.
David Bowie had worked with Instagram to adapt his last album into a miniseries.
Entitled UNBOUND: A Blackstar InstaMiniSeries, the first episode of 16 will 'drop' on 25 February and will, according to a release, "take[s] its audience on a journey of evocative images inspired by the moods suggested in the album’s music, lyrics and artwork".
The team behind the series were given unprecedented early access to Bowie's music and the images behind Blackstar, allowing them "to create their own visual interpretations of the songs, with no limits or preconditions on his part".
Speaking of the project, producer Lawrence Peryer said: "In light of recent events, this project has taken on new significance for all of us – cast and crew. We are very happy to be bringing a new creative work to David’s fan worldwide at a time when a focus on his music and art is much-needed."
