In a US radio interview, new kid on the block Fetty Wap dropped some crazy news on us.
Our boy Fetty said he didn’t want to "spill the beans" but that we should all be expecting some work with Drake coming soon. Drake is yet to comment on Fetty’s news about the plans ahead, but after hearing their collaboration on 'My Way' earlier this year we can all be expecting an absolute TUNE!
As we all know Fetty is no chart virgin. His single "Trap Queen" has dominated indie and hip hop charts all summer, which means this collab has huge potential to continue the trend.
It isn’t unheard of for OVO boss, Drake to sign an artist after working with them. iLoveMakkonen is just one of the many who joined the label after getting on Drake's radar. iLoveMakonnen's sleeper hit, "Tuesday" spelled instant fame for the young singer.
The "679" star has been a busy man after performing a version of "Trap Queen" with our queen, Taylor Swift, that had us literally screaming. So, his potential work and label signing with Drizzy could be truly out of control.
Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Fetty is still signed to 300 Entertainment and RGF Productions and is set to have a self-titled debut album coming out this year.
Looks like all we can do is prepare for a Fetty Wap wave to carry us away.
