Back in 2001, Ewan McGregor won over our hearts with his angelic pipes in Moulin Rouge (Seriously, ask any 20-something you know, they're in love with Christian whether they like it or not).
Thanks to rising indie stars Catfish And The Bottlemen, we got a little taster of that hidden talent again, in their new video for "Hourglass". Staying in a hotel room opposite frontman Van McCann, the actor tries to write a demo of a new song before McCann promptly nicks the recording. Rude.
McGregor starred in the video after learning that the band were big fans of his work. "Working with Sir Ewan was one of the funnest things I think I'll ever get to do," McCann told Music News. ""He's the most interesting and interested guy I've ever met. He's just f*****g brilliant, a total gentleman."
"When people tell you not to meet the people you look up to, f*ck that. Videos for us are hard, as we've got Austin Powers heads, but this was just a f***ing class craic."
