Pretty Girl by Hayley Kiyoko

Hayley Kiyoko Pretty Girl
Taylor Swift Billboard Music Awards 2015 Winner

We're still reeling from Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" video, that debuted last night at the Billboard Awards. And while we could write about it and take character quizzes about it all day (I got Hayley Williams), we should acknowledge that there was a whole bunch of other crazy things that happened at the event that deserves our acknowledgement. Seriously, it's important. Armies were raised, new love blossomed, and a few folks won some awards or something. Check out our top five Billboard Moments below....

1. Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' epic PDA

We can't hide from the truth anymore, folks; Taylor and Calvin Harris are a "thing". And the final proof wasn't how snuggly they were all night, or Calvin's wandering hands every time he gave Tay a congratulatory hug (more on that later); it was the fact that she chose to spend an awards show sitting with a guy instead of surrounding herself in a crazy dance party of girlfriends.

2. Fall Out Boy's "Uma Thurman" Army

Fall Out Boy brought the Clone Saga with them last night, when their live performance of fan favourite "Uma Thurman" with Wiz Khalifa was accompanied by a mob of dancing Mia Wallaces, from the song's inspiration Pulp Fiction. Thankfully there wasn't a John Travolta in sight.

3. Iggy and Britney just... yeah

Music's most unlikely and unrequested duo debuted their *ahem* live performance of "Pretty Girls" during the event last night. As far as anyone who would willingly go see Iggy Azalea live was concerned, it was a huge success and not at all cringeworthy.

4. Tay taking home like, every award

EIGHT. Count 'em, Taylor literally went away with eight awards last night. Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200, Hot 100, Digital Songs Artist, Billboard 200 Album, Streaming Video; and of course Billboard Chart Achievement Award, because after all that, you couldn't NOT. We are truly in the era of 1989, people.

5. Kanye being censored (and booed) to oblivion

What do music awards shows and McDonald's breakfasts have in common? They don't allow "All Day". Just like its debut at the BRITs in February, ABC's coverage of Kanye's closing performance, where he played a medley of his inflammatory new single and Yeezus' "Black Skinhead", was marred by excessive use of the Mute button by someone in the broadcasting house. Not only that: Billboard reports that he was booed by parts of the audience before and after his set.

Probably doesn't help that he was introduced by sister-in-laws Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who referred to hi as a "doctor"; that's the kind of stuff that will send the anti-Ye camp into a frenzy.

Also there were some other people winning awards and stuff. Check out the full list below:
